Summary and Detailed Report Formats
Both summary reports and detailed reports are accessible with
the BOSS Reporting tool. Summary reports provide quick access to
the big picture with key totals for GP %, GP $, total cost and
total sales, freight cost and sell and rebates. Detailed reports
produce a line by line detail for all items within the reporting
time frame. Detailed lines can show numerous columns from the
sales order including cost, sell, rebate, part number,
description and many others.
Vendor Reporting
Special vendor reports such as IBM and HP/Compaq are available
in the reporting module. The IBM report produces an exportable
file that can be directly imported into the IBM website.
Generating IBM and HP/Compaq reports no longer requires the
accounting department to shift through all invoices for the
current month.
Saving Report Definitions
With the numerous settings available in the reporting module,
users can now save a report definition for easy retrieval at a
later time. These saved reports can be access either by the
creator only or available to all users.
New Graphing Component
New graphing reports allow users to generate graphs on a number
of factors including top customers, top supplier, sales by
department (sales or service) and sales by type. Additional
graphs will be added in the future.
